Vincent Lai

Vincent has over 25 years of diverse professional experience in shipping and finance. He joined SeaKapital as CFO in May 2023.

◼ Prior to joining SeaKapital, Vincent served as CEO since 2017 for Landbridge Hong Kong, a subsidiary of a private industrial conglomerate focusing on port, energy and logistics. Vincent successfully assisted the industrial owner to develop a fleet of scrubber-fitted modern VLCC tankers with in-house ship management and secure long-term employment to first class charterers with financing from diversified global leasing sources. Before that, Vincent worked with Wah Kwong, a reputable ship owner in Hong Kong, for over 8 years and served as Executive Director and CFO in which he gained significant experience within ship owning and financing including ship leasing. Before he joined Wah Kwong in 2008, he held senior positions in COSCO and PricewaterhouseCoopers with focus in corporate finance, audit, shipping IPO and merger & acquisitions.

◼ Vincent holds a first-class honours degree in Bachelor of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a master degree in Public Finance from Jinan University in Guangzhou. He also holds a professional qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
